About the role

Due to having renewed existing contracts, extending into the next 6 years, and procuring several new clients, we are currently recruiting experienced Traffic Management Implementers (TMI) for ongoing day shift and night shift work in the Brisbane Metro and Brisbane South areas.

Prerequisites:

Dayshift applicants- Minimum 1 year TMI experience in a Ute

Nightshift applicants- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Ute with a minimum of 2 years in an highway environment

Current Drivers Licence

General Construction Industry White Card

Current Traffic Controller Industry Authority - Working with Stop/Slow Bat (Qld) - This is a mandatory requirement for all applicants

Traffic Management Implementation Card (Qld)

Duties

Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events

Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic

Implement and monitor operational traffic guidance schemes

Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment

Complete required paperwork and online forms and tasks as required

Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site

Report on site hazards and near misses

Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, or inspectors and auditors

Control traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public.
